Family History
Fields' father, Dirk Breton was an Alumnus of Baileydowns Thaumaturgical Institute, where he distinguished himself as a mage with great potential. However, there was a perception that he squandered that potential, as he never became very well-known. Fields had little memory of his mother, as she died of a sudden illness when he was very young. Dirk and Anita met at Bailey Downs and married shortly after graduation. Anita was a ward of the state, and her time at Baileydowns was financed by the mages guild in return for her service to the guild after graduation.
Education at Baileydowns
Fields attended Baileydowns Thaumaturgical Institute, where he was a member of House Elsanor. While his father wished him to spend his time there studying herbalism, Fields was far more interested in more active forms of magic. During his stay at Baileydowns, Fields kept a journal detailing his activities.
